If you’re wanting to grow your child’s confidence and want to see them learn real life lessons send them to Ms Kathleen. Almost every single week for 6 years I was not only encouraged to be my better self but also challenged to be my best self. These lessons with her are not only about exploring the talent you already have but embracing that talent and gaining new experiences. I struggled with insecurities in middle school and high school and Ms Kathleens house became a safe space for me. I was not confident at all. She listened to me and helped me understand some of my insecurities and taught me to see past them into the performer/person I could become. Every week I grew more and more excited to go see my favorite teacher. She teaches you to be brave and confident. She teaches you the best ways to express yourself through music. I learned so much not only about my voice and how to train it, but also I learned about music from other generations and every genre you can imagine. It totally expanded my horizon. Almost 7 years later I still listen to the warm up discs she makes and practice them in the car when I need a boost of confidence for an interview or anything I might be nervous about. The things she teaches will stick with you forever. Listen and learn. And as Ms Kathleen says, “There is always a method to the madness.”

When I was younger, I had a passion for singing, but I wasn't sure where to start.  I had always been in school choir but I wanted to do more!  When a family friend introduced me to Miss Kathleen's Voice Studio, it was eye opening!  She helped me find my voice!  She found songs that got me and my range and she also helped me find confidence while performing.  Miss Kathleen is a professional and teaches her students how to become professionals.  She not only is a great voice coach, she also helped me with pageants and inteviews which in turn helped when it came time to do interviews in college.  I am so grateful that Miss Kathleen was a foundational part of my life growing up.
